Joba getting his first start

Joba Chamberlain of the New York Yankees is getting his first start as a pitcher after being a relief pitcher. Hopefully he will last for a good long amount of innings, maybe seven. Joba has 64 career strikeouts and only 17 walks. He has three career wins and two loses, both loses happened this year

End of Yanks five game win streak thanks to the Orioles.

Yankees keep up a five game streak after defeating the Mariners this past weekend. But thanks to the Baltimore Orioles they end their streak. The Yankees lost to the Orioles 6-1. Five days earlier, the New York Yankees used a dazzling offensive showing against Garrett Olson to begin their longest winning streak of the season. Olson and the Baltimore Orioles got their revenge in the rematch.

Joe Girardi Loses control!!!!

Joe Girardi lost his mind yesterday after a foul tip, by Jason Giambi, of the knob of the bat into the catchers glove. They ejected him after he started arguing with the umpire and kicked dirt on his shoes. The Yankees still beat the Orioles 2-1. After a good single shot to left field scoring the winning run.

A-rod just returns and what does he do??

First day of A-rod's return what happens?. A-rod blasts a shot to deep left center field and got two RBI's off of it. That made the score 10-2. The yankees still lost after that long homerun 12-2. A-rod made the only two points.

A-Rods Back!!

Alex Rodrighuez who is the third basemen for the New York Yankees is ready to rejoin the team again after suffering an injury. He suffered a strained right quad. Looks like the Yankees were suffering without out A-rod on the plate or on the field. Hopefully when A-rod returns the Yankees will return back on their feet and return back to first place.
